Vision

To create, cultivate and sustain a safe space for teenagers to explore their faith, ask questions, give voice to their fears and have fun!

During our time together, we will play some games, get to know one another, engage in a brief Bible Study and HAVE FUN!

This year, GoodShepEYC is combined 6th - 12th grade. We will begin our new schedule on Sunday, August 17th.
From 4:00-5:00pm in the Bishop’s House (536 Sayre Avenue), students are invited to join the “Creative Space” where every student discovers and embraces their unique spiritual gifts. During this time, students will choose which “Area of Focus” they want to be a part of: Jam Band (with Music) and Drama+Media. The mission is to cultivate a nurturing environment that encourages creativity, self-discovery, and personal growth.
Afterwards, we will all have dinner in the Undercroft from 5:00-5:30pm, and then we will have our regular Sunday EYC from 5:30-6:30pm. Come share your talents with us! If you have any questions, you can reach out to Zac!
Sunday Night Meal Rotation

Would you consider providing a meal for our Sunday Night EYC gathering? Each Sunday at 5pm, the youth gathers in the Undercroft for a shared meal. As a host, you will set up and, if your time allows, stay for the meal! After everyone finishes, students can help you clean up and carry anything you need out to your car.

TAKE 5

Starting Sunday, August 10
Hey 5th Graders! Starting Sunday, August 10th, join us for TAKE 5. Each Sunday during the 10am Children's Chapel time, GoodShepEYC will provide an additional program offering. The vision is to connect 5th Graders to the Gospel. The mission is to teach the students how to identify the principles of the appointed Scripture in the Gospel, so that they can apply them to their lives.
Hey youth! Come to Sunday School to prepare for the lesson each Sunday, and then come join us to help lead during Take 5.
*If your student prefers to go to Ms. Patty’s Children’s Chapel, they are more than welcome to do that! They just need to stay at one for the entirety of its meeting time.

Join us for Sunday School in the Youth Suite at 9:00am! Grab a donut from upstairs, and come on down! This program is for both Middle and High School.
Each week we study the readings following the Lectionary that we will hear in church.

Middle and High School are invited to join in a time of food and fellowship, as well as discussion that centers on the Christian faith as it intersects with their lives.

Everyone will come together for a meal in the Undercroft starting at 5pm.

We will have our Sunday Night EYC Formation at 5:30pm. We will get to know each other, play games together, and listen to a mindful meditation to get our week started!
Drop off and pick up in the parking lot.
Details about 2025-2026 Confirmation Class will be released in August.
Here at Good Shepherd, we have designed our EYC confirmation class for all High School Students. We have 10 total classes with five in the Fall and 5 five in the Spring. It is not required to attend every class; however, it is highly encouraged.
Sundays at 5:00pm
Every Sunday, our Middle and High School students gather for a shared meal in the Undercroft. We are looking for volunteers to provide these meals. If you are interested in serving in this way, click the link below to sign up!

EYC’s ‘Tuesday’s @ 2’ is an afternoon for ice-cream and adventures! We meet in the church parking lot at 2:00pm and walk as a group to a nearby ice-cream shop. We will likely find a fun activity after ice-cream at a park or community center. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a water bottle! Pick up is at 5:00pm in the parking lot.
