Music

We praise God, joining our voices with Angels and Archangels and with all the company of heaven, to proclaim with them God’s glory, in their unending hymn.

"Music is vital to our community. When we sing during worship, it is our way of offering prayers and praise to God. I invite you to worship with us and to lift your voice to God in praise and thanksgiving."

The Choirs

The Good Shepherd offers several Choirs differing in commitment levels. Throughout the year, our choirs sing every Sunday morning at the 10am Holy Eucharist, at Diocesan Music Events, Lessons and Carols, and other special music events throughout the year.

  • This choir sings for funeral services.

  • This group meets weekly on Wednesdays, from 6:30-8:30pm, and sings on Sunday mornings at 10am.

  • Youth (6th-12th grade) are invited to join us every Sunday from 4-5pm in the Bishop's House. This offering takes place during EYC Creative Space. The Youth Choir will be led by Mattilda, Kay’Mon, Justin, and Lily.

Good Shepherd

Good Shepherd Music School integrates music education into existing church activities like Children’s Chapel and EYC (Episcopal Youth Community Creative Space), and continuing education for adults. Choral and instrumental ensembles are open to youth and adults, from beginner to advanced.
